A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced developer who has at least a years experience in developing Mobile Websites. The employer is wishing to push the mobile offering they currently have and as such require someone who has both a broad understanding of Mobile Web Development and also Mobile industry knowledge.
The role will involve building the front ends of mobile sites, testing and QA, research and development and a lot client/potential client facing work. As the mobile offering expands the successful candidate will be heavily involved in the direction it goes. The successful candidate will have a genuine personal enthusiasm for all things mobile â?? will have solid industry knowledge and specific knowledge about handsets, page rendering, browser quirks.
This role will require:
¢Experience of building and testing mobile websites
¢Practical knowledge of WML/XSL/XML/XHTML
¢A natural passion for mobile
Advantageous would be:
¢Knowledge of cocoa/iPhone
¢Basic Java development
¢QA experience
¢Client facing experience
This role would not be suitable for people from a Mobile Games and Application Development background.
