Advertising Sales Executive

Environmental Finance Publications is seeking an advertising sales executive to work with new and existing clients across our three publications – Environmental Finance, Carbon Finance and Bioenergy Business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
2. Face-to-face meetings with customers (both agencies and clients)
3. Telephone sales calls to customers; cold calling
4. Generating new business
5. Account management and repeat business
6. Revenue generation through a mix of sales, sponsorship and bespoke packages
7. Subscription telesales
The candidate will have a results-driven attitude and be able to demonstrate print and online advertising sales experience, working with clients and agencies from small companies to large blue-chip organisations.
He/she will have a proven track-record in sales, an ability to generate new business and win repeat business from existing customers and create innovative tailored packages to match customer needs with our product portfolio.
In addition, he/she will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to create compelling proposals (verbal and written) for customers.
Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and be able to work on both an individual basis as well as part of a team.
Their organisational skills should be second to none to keep up-to-date prospect lists and accurate client records on the database.
