Maintenance Planner - near Helensburgh - salary up to £28K & excellent benefits Pension - 1.5% employee contribution to the Final Salary Pension, Life Ass - 2.5 salary Holidays - 35.5 (25 annual + 10.5) days & public and privilege holidays Reports to:Operations Planning Manager The role/ Key Accountabilities: Scope Definition Authorise, plan, issue and control all nuclear and non-nuclear maintenance work and/or repair carried out by maintenance sections within the base. To liaise with Facility Operators, Building Officers or other interested parties to release equipment from service for maintenance and/or repair. Co-ordinate planned work packages and maintenance tasks and to provide status reports. Process Definition Authorise - Add new nuclear and non-nuclear asset maintenance schedules into CIMMS system and initiate planned maintenance scheduling at predefined intervals throughout equipment life-cycle. Enter the assets into CIMMS Asset Register, raise Job Files and produce maintenance plan. Plan - Review CIMMS Maintenance Plan Format Display to initiate and arrange required maintenance and/or defect work orders for all assets, rescheduling were necessary and vetting maintenance schedules prior to issue. Producing Project Management Plans (PMP) based on CIMMS maintenance information for issue to line sections listed above. Issue - Release at the predefined intervals all relevant maintenance schedules and/or defects to allow work to proceed after all relevant criteria have been met (e.g. work order produced, maintenance schedule valid, asset release agreed) Control - Liaise with relevant maintenance sections on maintenance progress through to completion, reschedule where necessary, and ensure prompt return of all completed documentation, updating CIMMS as appropriate. Removing or relocating assets from CIMMS when they have been deemed as disposed or moved. Balance the maintenance tasks, defects or work packages resources with given resources from the maintenance sections. Attend weekly maintenance resource planning meetings with maintenance sections. Organise electrical/mechanical shutdown for planned preventative maintenance and unplanned shutdowns in the base for the responsibility area. Ensure that any specialised maintenance contracts are controlled and managed. Control and monitor stores material requisitions and contractor support contracts to ensure budgetary control of funds. Establish measures that demonstrate delivery performance within the area of responsibility, either for you or as part of the team. These measures need to be updated on a monthly basis. Stakeholder Development Facilitate discipline development through engaging with the key stakeholders such as Customer, Estate Management group, Naval Base Design Authority and NSAG to maximise involvement understanding and buy-in. Quality Data Management controls that provide transparency, traceability, audit-ability and configuration control. Comply with appropriate legislation including requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Specific Nuclear Safety Responsibilities Ensure that nuclear implicated assets use up to date authorised maintenance schedule. Ensure that all guidelines and regulations are taking in consideration for nuclear implicated areas for planned preventative maintenance and shutdowns.
Person specification Experience in planning. HNC or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing or business. Experience of planning tool software Proven ability to ?communicate and operate at all levels within the organisation with minimal direction articulating clearly and concisely maintenance planning at any time. Excellent problem solving skills Excellent at Planning, Prioritising and Organising Effective time management skills Process Management and continuous improvement tools and mindset
