The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join this exciting branded company. Your role as Sous Chef will involve training the kitchen staff to the company standards and learning the brand, ensuring company standards and policies are adhered to. The ideal candidate for this position would be a proven Sous or an experienced Chef de Partie with at least 3 years experience, ideally with a good knowledge of Italian Mediterranean cuisine. This is a very hands on position in a fast paced environment and requires a strong supervisor and an individual who can work under pressure and handle large volume.
Key Skills are
Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills
Some financial understanding and experience with stock control and ordering
Ability to work under pressure
Supervisory Skills with the ability to deputise for the Head Chef in their absence
A high standard of personal presentation
Confident, professional and welcoming personality
