French Speaking Automotive Mechanics / Technicians Location: Russelsheim, Germany or Peterlee, UK Salary dependant on experience Languages required: French Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Car Electrician / Automotive Engineer         Must speak fluent French                                              For our clients European Technical Assistance Centre in either Germany or UK, we are currently looking for Automotive Technicians to support dealerships across Europe. You fit our profile, if you have an education as a car technician (car mechanic / car electrician / master technician / automotive engineer) and have several years of work experience in an automotive environment (preferable you will have experience on Vauxhall, SAAB or Chevrolet). You are flexible and like working as part of a team and you are comfortable in using computer and databases. JOB PURPOSE To provide technical advice and assistance to Dealers, Fleet Operators, other departments and divisions. NATURE AND SCOPE As Technical Assistance Engineer you will be an integral part of a large team of technical staff working within Europe. You will provide assistance of technical and non-technical nature to retailers and or Independent Motor Traders. This is a responsible position with delegated authority to authorise tens of thousands of pounds of warranty expenditure; significant delegated budgetary authority levels are given. EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years experience in the operation of a service workshop in all disciplines. At least 3 years experience in servicing and repairing motor vehicles. Proven communication and customer care skills. Proven technical report writing skills from computer-based data. You must be fluent French and be able to use English as a second language for training and business purposes.
