A Portfolio Manager is required for a world leader in Secure Communication Systems. This is the lead position for a pragmatic and customer-focussed professional to manage the assigned Product and Service area for the companys family of cryptographic products. Key tasks: Primary point of contact for the customer on the assigned Product and Services programme at both Programme Manager and Director level and the prime Portfolio Management interface with customers for the assigned Product and Service area. Generation of an annual Campaign Plan for the year on year achievement of the targets set within the OP Plan. Business plan detailing by month the financial plan for the product area highlighting orders, revenue, margin and cash. Planning, monitoring and management of the Product and Service Programme. Production of Management Plans for the implementation of the project, including Risk, Financial, Resource and Project Plans. Preparation and delivery of project reports and data. Identification and management of project risks, and the formulation of effective mitigation action to ensure the achievement of the defined targets and objectives. The ideal candidate is likely to have the following skills and experience: Product/Programme Management experience of Defence, Government or Civil Secure related projects. Management experience with a proven record of success in achieving goals and targets in managing a multi skilled project/business team. Knowledge of Crypto products is desirable.
