STR are currently recruiting for a Medical Secretary/Cardiac Administrator in a private treatment hospital in the South East of England. This role will involve providing secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant Cardiac Surgeons and Cardiac Administration Co-ordinator. The responsibilities of the position will include; general office administration including data entry, appointment booking, answering telephone queries, typing letters; operation notes, discharge summaries using audio dictation, opening of the post and filing. Other responsibilities will be to update and maintain waiting lists, ensure anaesthetic review of patients notes and arrange inpatient admissions. We are looking to hear from candidates who have audio typing experience and good organising, clerical and administrative skills. The successful candidate will have preferably worked in a medical environment and have the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently. The salary for this position will be a maximum of £25000. Location Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Whiteley, Segensworth and Hampshire
