Divisional HSE Manager / Director (Waste / Grounds Maintenance / Street Scene / Building Maintenance) required to join a provider of support services to the utility and local authority sectors. The company specialises in the provision of outsourced planned and reactive maintenance services employing over 2500 employees across the UK in a variety of occupations and activities. We are looking for a candidate to fill this senior position within Group. You will have a proven track record, at least 10 years experience preferably with 2 to 3 years spent at a senior level working with senior management and must hold CMIOSH Status. The candidate must have a track record in relation to the development of HSEQ systems and the monitoring and reviewing of their implementation and suitability within the field and must be able to demonstrate an ability to have made a difference within their current / previous employment particularly in the area of accident / incident reduction within a heavily unionised workforce. The Divisional Head Office Lancashire with contracts stretching the full length of the country. The candidate should ideally live between Lancashire and the Midlands as the position will require the candidate to travel throughout the Country in the execution of their role. The candidate will manage a dedicated team of HSEQ Managers based in strategic locations throughout the UK and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Divisional HSEQ Systems to maintain compliance with accredited 9001 / 14001 / 18001 Management Systems.
