Assistant Travel Manager/ High Street Independent travel agency
My Client is one of the largest independent travel agency chains, Covering West Midlands, Staffordshire, Worchester, Oxford, Swindon and Gloucestershire.
A vacancy has arisen in one of the Oxfordshire branches for an assistant travel manager. This is a varied and exciting role where your creative input is appreciated and valued.
Daily duties include:
* To assist in all activities and support the achievements of branch sales targets, actively addressing shortfalls
* Setting daily sales targets for branch staff and providing ongoing encouragement for both top sellers and those that need added support
* To have full working knowledge of branch admin in order to produce reports, statements and wage details.
* To encourage and support of sales and ancillaries
* To perform weekly foreign exchange bureau spot checks
* Cover the manager in his or her absence

The type of person for the Assistant Travel Manager Vacancy is someone who has had experience as a senior sales consultant who wishes to take their step into management or an existing Assistant Travel Manager who wants to work for this reputable independent agency.
