This integrated highways services company offer a comprehensive, unique and innovative range of contracting, asset management and consultancy skills. They are seeking to recruit technical staff to join their busy Structures Investigation Group based out of the Exeter office. There are a number of positions vacant within this group at a range of levels. These roles report to the Structures Investigations Director and/or Team Leader. On a day-to-day basis you will assist the Structures Investigation Group in the inspection and testing of highway structures within the Area 1 Highways Agency Network in Devon and Cornwall. There will be opportunities to work throughout the UK and in Ireland on a range of structures including highway and marine structures, multi-storey buildings and car parks, dams and power stations. You will assist with planning and organising site works, to include inspections and testing, liaising with Traffic Management Teams to secure access to the network and the preparation of method statements and risk assessments. With a professional approach to work, you should possess an appropriate qualification or be looking to gain a qualification in a relevant Engineering related discipline. Experience in the structures field would be an advantage for certain positions. A current driving licence is preferred.
