HEAD OF PHARMACOVIGILANCE
Based in Berkshire
£45,000 - 57,000 per annum
Job Summary:
Working for a clinical development organization, you will be managing and developing the pharmacovigilance functions, providing advice, support and documentation relating to the worldwide business activities.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
-- Ensuring pharmacovigilance data is processed; ensuring validation and security of the pharmacovigilance systems and databases.
-- Line manages pharmacovigilance staff.
-- Acting as a mentor and source of expertise to pharmacovigilance staff.
-- Assuming an active role in client liaison for ongoing projects.
-- Ensuring pharmacovigilance data is processed such that subjects rights, safety and
   well being are protected and that the pharmacovigilance data are reliable.
-- Ensuring validation and security of the pharmacovigilance systems and databases.
-- Actilvely participating business development activities and builds up freestanding
      pharmacovigilance work in addition to full service contracts

Essential Skills & Capabilities:
Essential, graduate or postgraduate or equivalent ideally in scientific or healthcare discipline.
Five year plus experience in drug safety, line management and good sponsor contact experience,
E2B reporting experience and knowledge of PV management systems
