Sales Executive - Molecular Biology - French Territory
Our client is a leading specialist manufacturer of biological products operating in the area of biotechnology and haematology. Currently they have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their Sales Team covering North and Eastern France. Working within a well established customer base you will be responsible for managing key accounts where you will be required to promote and sell company products with the aim of exceeding sales budgets whilst also providing a good quality of customer service. Obtaining referrals and prospects for new business and implementing a sales strategy to achieve sales budget will be another key feature of the role.
Typically other daily duties will include maintaining regular contact with customers, ensuring the customer database is regularly updated and representing the company at relevant exhibitions.
You will work predominantly from the companies UK Headquarters in Oxfordshire, but will be required to travel one week per month to your territory, visiting customers, with the aim of promoting the company, discussing products and providing technical advice.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that you possess a relevant life science background, i.e. Biochemistry/Molecular Biology (previous laboratory experience would be an advantage) and have French or Belgian as your mother tongue and are fluent in written and spoken English.
Previous sales or technical support experience gained within the life science industry would be preferred. Candidates without experience but who have MSc. or Phd. Level qualifications, excellent self motivation coupled with the ability and desire to succeed in a sales environment will also be considered.
Salary £22.5-25K + Benefits including:
