This Company is one of the leading specialist logistics providers to the UK wines and spirits industry they are looking for an outgoing, reliable, dependable and responsible person with good verbal and written communication skills to train their growing workforce. Reporting to the Administration and HR and Administration Director you will be required to: -- Identify the Companys training needs, design and deliver a coherent training and development policy & programme to meet those needs and carry out training evaluation. -- Train all employees off and on the job in their bespoke IT systems, generic Microsoft packages and soft skills for senior staff, as well as complete all induction training for new staff. -- Facilitate all external training. -- Formulate teaching, outline and determine instructional methods covering individual training, group instruction & demonstrations. From time to time you will also be required to deliver training externally to clients. -- Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. -- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including advertising, selection and interviewing. -- Take a lead in maintaining the Company's Investors in People accreditation -- Administer the Company's Quality Management System . -- Take an active part in the accreditation process the Company and Environmental Management System. Applicants will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a training role, ideally within the Freight Forwarding Industry. A training qualification is an essential requirement and experience of recruitment issues is highly desirable. Full training will be supplied in all other skill areas as required. Salary will be commensurate with experience. 26 Days holiday and Company Pension scheme. In addition, excellent computer skills are required including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
