following a rapid expansion program, a vacancy has been created for an experienced recruitment consultant, with automotive manufacturing knowledge, for an organisation based in telford. the organisation works with some of the worlds largest automotive manufacturers and their suppliers, as such you will need to have an understanding of this market including the terminology and practices involved.
the role will involve the sourcing of candidates to fulfil existing requirements, using a variety of sources and the penetration of existing clients business. as recruitment consultant, you will be a proven self starter who can bring a wealth of ideas and experience that will enable you to build a successful and profitable desk. you will also need to be able to work unsupervised as a standalone business unit.
main responsibilities will include:
"introduction of effective candidate attraction methods i.e. relevant job boards etc.
"establish systems that will manage the recruitment process effectively
"vetting of prospective candidates
"upselling of suitable candidates in to relevant client
"selling of technical recruitment services in to existing company clients
"identify opportunities for new business and cross selling
ideal candidates will have proven experience as a recruitment consultant along with automotive manufacturing experience either within a recruitment or shop floor environment.
the position comes with a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 plus a generous bonus structure.
the location is commutable from telford, oakengates, wolverhampton, shrewsbury, stafford, walsall, bridgnorth, cannock, dudley, burntwood, lichfield, kidderminster and areas of birmingham, shropshire,telford and wrekin, cheshire, staffordshire and worcestershire.
