This Architectural practice has been established for over a decade and is renowned for their innovative approach to design. They specialise in residential, commercial and mixed use projects nationally and internationally. Due to repeat business from leading blue chip companies such as Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s and some of UKs leading housing developers they are looking to hire a recently qualified PII Architectural Assistant to be part of their growing team of 20 people.
Your responsibility will be to assist the Senior Architect on the project. This will range from helping with the initial briefing, input in the design, technical detailing, building and planning applications through to attending sites with the Architects.
You must be familiar in AutoCAD or Microstation. You will have had experience working within a similar role and will understand the key aspects of the planning process and building regulations. It is essential you have strong interpersonal skills as you will be communicating with team members and clients. Good time management skills are required as you will be required to work towards tight deadlines. As an individual you must be keen to learn, be ambitious and be able to help deliver results. Candidates will be expected to hold their PII RIBA qualification and be hoping to work towards their PIII qualification future.
