C# C++ GUI Software Engineer. Contract. South West. C# software engineer with strong GUI development and design skills and a Visual C++ background needed to work with my client on an initial 6 month contract.
You need to have C# development skills and it is likely that you have significant development experience prior to that with Visual C++ and MFC - key is that you have enough experience to be comfortable dealing with issues that do or may arise in developing complex systems and ideally have experience on engineering projects.
You will need to demonstrate your ability to develop high integrity software in critical environments - e.g., defence, aerospace, banking. You will also need strong GUI / graphical skills so experience of developing user interfaces or working with graphics API would be of benefit, as would experience on systems that are real time although this is not an embedded role.
