Our client a global blue-chip company based in the South East, requires an Integrated Logistic Support Engineer to be responsible for managing, developing and implementing the Logistic Support Analysis process as required. Responsibilities will include assessment of Subcontractor/Supplier ILS capabilities, assessment of maintenance functions and input to packaging, handling, storage and transportation. Other duties will be having input support & test equipment, support to proposed supply chain & asset management solution and ensuring that all support related comments are managed, recorded and actioned in a timely manner. Managerial tasks will include LSA planning, costing, status monitoring and budgets, suggesting or recommending improvements to achieve a more effective delivery and producing performance metrics for monitoring resource and performance. Successful candidates will have a degree, diploma or BTEC in an engineering discipline, are trained, qualified and experienced in the application of LSA or be an experienced Armed Forces LSA practitioner with equivalent experience. Candidates who have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and the ability to work autonomously within an effective team environment utilising leadership and arbitration skills are advantageous. As are those who have the ability to adapt quickly and cope with varying workloads, are confident and able to work to deadlines.
