Internal Auditor Basic - £18k - £20k Hours of work - Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16.30 The Company Our client is a European Chilled and Frozen food producer. It makes predominantly fresh chilled desserts, salads, sandwiches, fish, dips, dressings and ready meals for sale in the UK and continental Europe. It is a major supplier to leading supermarket groups in Europe on a branded and customer own label basis. The Role -- Conduct internal audits at specific intervals of critical areas ensuring that the documented procedures are followed -- Record, document and communicate internal audit observations and non-conformance to the relevant departmental managers -- Verify corrective actions to ensure that close out actions are sustainable and will deliver continuous improvement to the business -- Record and co-ordinate the follow up of metal / foreign body contamination on the shop floor -- Audit and verify the investigative paperwork to ensure they have been completed to a satisfactory close out level -- Play an active role in the management of factory procedures ensuring they are kept up to date and relevant to changes in factory layout, ingredients and finished products -- Complete monthly reports on the performance of the factory
The Candidate -- Computer literate able to produce written and graphical reports -- Basic/Intermediate Food Hygiene -- Knowledge and understanding of HACCP -- The individual should be self motivated, have attention to detail and be challenging at all levels in a constructive manner -- Education: 5 GCSEs at C grade above or equivalent
