SAS Developer, London, Permanent
Our client is a fast growing specialist business and technology consultancy with an enviable reputation for taking on their clients toughest challenges.
Due to ongoing growth within their   Government practice, they have opportunities for SAS Developers to work on a variety of business critical projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop solutions for clients either on client site or working closely with the client, with minimum supervision and alongside both the clients business and technical staff.
You will be recognised as proficient using Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS/Macro to deliver best practice data analytics together with an aptitude for interpreting your findings to provide clear and measurable business insight.

Requirements:
Experience of a combination of SAS tools such as Enterprise Guide, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Management Console or SAS Portal
Proven experience with strong Base SAS and SAS/Macro programming skills and experience of SAS up to and including v9.1.3 in a client server environment
Data Mining and statistical analysis, including the use of SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS/STAT.
Experience of working on analytical problem solving within an area such as credit risk analysis, fraud detection, CRM or customer value management is required.
Knowledge of customer matching (individual and address level) using applications such as Trillium.
Competent in investigating data quality issues.
Data Warehouse design and development with experience of using SAS as an ETL tool for managing large volumes of data.
Experience of using SAS in a hybrid environment alongside RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server is required.
