Job Summary: - QA release of incoming stock is undertaken in a timely manner, without compromising safety and efficacy. - Customer complaints are professionally managed and regularly reviewed. - QA system is implemented and maintained in line with corporate QA guidelines and ethical standards, relevant government regulations and statutory requirements. - QA policies and procedures are developed and implemented to ensure that products meet quality specifications and standards. - Product recall procedure is coordinated and managed. - Global Project Support. - Global Supplier Audit Support. Dimensions: - Reports locally to Head of Scientific Affairs. - Reports functionally to Head of Quality Assurance, Asia / RIC. - Support Regional New Launch Projects - Support Regional Supplier Audits - Local and Regional Travel of at least 15% Internally the position interacts with: - Product Supply on product release for supply, sourcing issues, local third party activity and promotional item activity - Regulatory Affairs on approved product details and legislative requirements - Drug Safety on pharmacovigilance (PV) issues, including customer complaints with potential PV implications - Marketing on QA issues, new product launches and promotional activity - OTC Global Quality Assurance on complaint reporting and resolution, and other QA issues Externally the position interacts with: - Local and overseas suppliers to ensure compliance with standards - Call centre on product complaints - Government bodies - Customers and consumers on product complaints
