Our client is a leading expert in the supply of network security solutions, including assurance, products, services and knowledge. Their customers cover a wide range of organisations from both public and private sectors, Blue Chip companies and SMEs. Due to their continued success they have a vacancy for an Sales Account Manager within the Business Development Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the account management of a dedicated customer base of IT professionals both via telephone and site visits. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing new business as well as ensuring the maximum sales potential is achieved from each of their accounts. Applicants for this position must be articulate, confident, determined, self motivated and possess an excellent telephone manner. The role would ideally suit someone looking for a new challenge within a growing market sector and who wants to further their sales career and develop new skills Key Competencies: 2 years sales experience, preferably in networked sales environments or IT sector Proven account management skills, via the telephone and face to face Track record of achieving targets Experience of prospecting for new customers whilst managing existing account base Personal Qualities Excellent communication skills Self starter - motivated to achieve targets Ability to work as part of a pro-active team Ambitious to develop sales career Professional and well presented Salary and benefits Our client offers a starting salary of £25,000 (negotiable) per annum with on target earnings of £45,000 plus, 21 days holiday, Company Pension and Company Health scheme All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
