THE ROLE                               Personal Banking Consultant
Location:Oxford
Salary:                upto 20k Basic package plus uncapped commission

As a Personal Banking Consultant you will spend the majority of your week conducting Customer Reviews. These are the Banks structured customer interviews where you can spend time with each customer ensuring they are making the most of the products and services on offer. By offering each customer the best advice for their individual circumstances you will find that you can either save or even make them money.
The Personal Banker will use their up-to-date and comprehensive product knowledge to ensure they can provide the customer with full information on the banks products and services which are relevant to the individual customer.
The ability to mentor and coach your colleagues to ensure that they are identifying sales opportunities which each customer and generating leads and appointments for you is essential. Pro-active booking of appointments is also required.

EXPERIENCE
Excellent customer services skills are essential. Previous experience in a banking environment is preferable, preferably in a similar role. Knowledge of banking products such as loans, credit cards, and insurance products is highly advantageous. Any face to face sales experience will be considered, and applicants with mobile phone sales or travel sales are always strong contenders!
