Successful company that contracts for the London Underground that supports works in facilities, civil engineering and projects work are looking for a senior Health and Safety Advisor to oversee Health and Safety on the rail line operations in London.
Candidates must have experience in h&s advising within the network rail industry and also be a competent self starter as this is a newly created position that will require a hands-on but very methodical person to report the health and safety manager in successfully leading the health and safety team in new contractual developments with the company.
You will be providing risk assessments, method statements, providing inspections, audits, writing policies and procedures and taking a hand in writing h&s management systems that will effect the way in which health and safety in carried out for the benefit of the companys contracts.
To apply, you must have excellent communication skills, be proactive and have the ability to work off your own initiative as well as working within a team and advising them in h&s practices. You must also have a minimum of a NEBOSH general certificate as well as being IOSH registered with experience in the network rail industry a must.
