Our Client, a world leading construction, design, and engineering consultancy is searching for a PDS/PDMS Administrator for their busy headquarters in Reading, Berkshire.
We are looking for applicants with good communication skills, who are self motivated, with a good working experience of PDS 3D project creation and set-up, administration and problem resolution or an experienced user who wishes to progress to CAD administration.
You will be responsible for problem diagnosis, and corrective action where appropriate, ensuring all application developments, or changes are fully tested, documented and approved in accordance with guidelines, monitoring system performance to ensure smooth operation of CAD systems and liaising with 3rd party suppliers with regards to problem resolution, preventative maintenance and upgrades.
Applicants must be educated to HNC level minimum, with previous experience of piping, mechanical and structural experience gained though petrochemical engineering environment. Experience of Aveva PDMS or other Plant Design 3D applications and an in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following Oracle, Intergraph, RIS relational-databases, MS Access and Windows Platforms.
The role will be office-based, with the possibility of travel to sites world-wide.
