My client, a leading provider of data services based in London, is currently recruiting for an experienced Business/ Systems Analyst who will be responsible for complex systems analysis (in a .NET environment) requiring you to work on multiple projects at the same time through the entire project life cycle, using effective communication skills to identify business requirements and translate these into realistic actions for the software development & extended technical teams. This is a permanent role.
You are likely to have come from a Technical Development background with previous experience as a Systems Architect or similar.
You will also need experience of conducting detailed systems analysis and design work using appropriate tools and modeling techniques and identify, analyse, design and document software processes as Technical and Design specifications.
Essential Qualifications and Technical skills required:
>Microsoft .NET knowledge and experience
>Equally Web and Winforms application experience
>Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Visio and Microsoft Project
>Great documentation skills:
o Lucid and purposeful diagrams
o Accurate, concise and unambiguous use of English
>The ability to mentor the above skills into others and lead technical documentation standards
>Client-facing skills
>Ability to work independently with limited supervision
>A focus on applying methodologies and quality frameworks to software development
>Ability to investigate client problems and issues and respond in a timely manner
Desirable
>Front End design skills
>ASP.Net
>In depth Microsoft SQL Server skills
>SharePoint user and developer-level knowledge
>Experience of implementing service oriented architectures
>Modelling tools, techno logy skills (e.g. UML)
