Our client is an international consultancy providing project management, cost management and consultancy services for construction and engineering projects in transport, property and industry. With more than 15 years service in the water industry, including commissions for the principal UK water and sewage companies, and Scottish Water, our client supports challenging capital investment programmes across the sector. Their extensive experience spans delivery, cost management and regulatory issues as well as new works, network rehabilitation, repair and maintenance. They have a long history of delivery of water and waste water treatment projects and were among the first to introduce target cost contracts to the industry. Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work at their client site in Cockfosters, London for their Infrastructure team. Ideal candidate should be seeking a long term career move and ultimately looking to develop their talents to rapidly progress to the next level. Candidate will be expected to -- Work within a Team and will provide a range of Quantity Surveying duties on a mains replacement project for their water client. -- Have a sound working knowledge of sustainability issues, life cycle costing and risk and value management. Candidate will already have -- A BSc in Quantity Surveying and/or is a member for the RICS or equivalent, or be working towards such qualifications. -- Excellent interpersonal skills which will allow you to interact with the client on a day to day basis and represent our client in a professional manner at all times. -- A willingness to continue to develop your career through their structured training programme.
