My client is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner providing software and services solutions that enable enterprises to implement world class IT infrastructures. They specialise in the Microsoft SMS arena and are experiencing rapid, global expansion through leading solutions which enable their clients to operate highly automated server and desktop deployment and management systems.
The successful applicant will become part of their expanding development team and will be required to be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from system analysis through to test build and support. In addition you will be expected to develop a detailed knowledge of my clients products and of supporting Microsoft products such as SMS and SCCM.
To apply you must be an experienced Windows programmer, with experience of working in an Agile environment. A proven track record in product development or testing in a fast moving and leading edge IT environment is a prerequisite.
Experience
4 years experience in developing for Windows XP/2003/Vista using C++ and or C#
Understanding of Unit and or system testing
Some database understanding with SQL Server 2000/2005
A good understanding of core Windows 2000/3 technologies such as Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, Group policy etc
Experience in some of the following WMI, Win 32, TCP/IP, RPC, MMC and service applications
Agile
Advantageous
Systems Management server
C++ ASP.NET, Web services.
Educated to degree level or equivalent subject (IT, Mathemetics, Engineering)
