Senior Web Developer, ASP.Net - London up to £50,000
Overall Objective: To be a source of expertise in .NET during the transition and migration of the organisations sites and applications to that technology. To work with other team members to enable the migration of existing web sites and applications from ColdFusion to .NET and the building of new sites in .net.
The Role: You will be the main source of expertise in the web team on .NET technology and best practice, to transfer this knowledge effectively to other team members and to apply this knowledge in your work.
Working with the Senior Web Developer and web team to analyse current web sites and applications and redesign them in .NET and to analyse and design new web applications.
You will also work with the Database Manager and the web team to build effective data layers for these applications.
Along with senior web developer and web project manager you will draw up a road map for migration to .NET, working subsequently to clear schedules as set out by the Project Manager.
In addition you will be expected too:
Attend meetings with team representatives to put together a brief and tech spec for each project
Maintain an innovative, fresh thinking approach
Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research when required.
Engage in development of close partnerships with internal and external suppliers and support the use of information throughout the organisation.
liaise with other departments to achieve Divisional and Group aims.
To products by means of close liaison with marketing, conferences and sales teams.

ASP.NET - VB.NET - C# - Object Orientated Programming - MS SQL 2000/2005 - TML/CSS
