Technical Architect - MCSE 2003, Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007, Active Directory, SQL Server, IIS Server, Windows Server 2003, Citrix Presentation Server - Birmingham
Microsoft Technical Architect required to work for Microsoft Gold Partner. You will be the principal technical design authority for around 4 - 5 clients on Microsoft solutions in Exchange 2003/2007, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, SQL Server and Citrix Presentation Server.
You will deliver high levels of consultancy to assigned customers. You would be involved in refresh and upgrade projects as well as acting as the principal technical authority for these customers. You will work from the requirement gathering stages through to documenting the most cost effective solution and designing and implementing the full solution. You will have full involvement in the full project life cycle.
Ideally you will be MCSE 2003 certified and have extensive experience as a consultant. You will be fully proficient with the above technologies and designing and delivering solutions around these technologies. You will have strong documentation skills as well as report making skills. Ideally you will be a very customer focused individual with strong communication skills as well as the ability to liaise with varying levels of the organisation and 3rd party companies.
The position would be based predominantly on site at the head office in Nottingham and would require some UK wide travel to customer sites as you would be acting as a professional interface between our client and their end client. This would be rewarded with a car allowance as well as a competitive salary.
