Assistant General Manager - Branded Restaurant
This highly successful American themed restaurant is currently seeking to recruit an Assistant General Manager for their London Heathrow Airport Restaurant.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you will play a major part in providing a unique fusion of fantastic food, delight drinks & cocktails, authentic atmosphere and superb service to all guests
The Assistant General Restaurant Managers main responsibilities are many and varied and include:
Guests
* Ensuring the delivery of Legendary Service to guests
* Identifying ways to improve the guest experience
* Resolving escalated guest issues
* Ensuring total product availability in their department(s)
* Delivering excellent product quality in the store
People
* Keeping managers and own team updated regarding brand and store developments and targets
* Management of own department(s) - ensure team understand the vision, motivate, develop, performance manage, conduct reviews
* Scheduling/rotas for store management team to ensure correct manpower levels
* Responsibility for Health & Safety compliance in-store
* Recruiting high quality new team members
* Contributing to disciplinary procedures where necessary
* Communicating shift targets, expectations and plans
* Motivating team and resolving immediate people issues on shift
Financial performance
* Supporting the GM in developing the annual store business plan
* Showing understanding of the store P&L and targets
* Knowing the key business performance measures and taking appropriate action to meet targets within their department(s)
* Managing an allocated margin to contribute to the P&L
* Identifying ways to drive sales and guest count
Personal Qualities required for Assistant Restaurant to be results driven and be passionate about the brand and possess the drive & enthusiasm to succeed in sales and smashing targets.
You should be able to lead by example and be a peoples person with previous management experience and strong business acumen gained within the branded/themed restaurant sector.
