Implementation Manager - NHS/Health - Wales (Pencoed) - some travel
SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION, ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE, MS PROJECT, PRINCE 2, PATHOLOGY, RADIOLOGY,
Our NHS client based in Wales requires an Implementation Project Manager to ensure the successful take-up of the Portal Applications in local health organisations to include pathology and radiology test requesting and results reporting.
You will have experience of implementing systems and associated organisational change within the NHS, an understanding and experience of Pathology lab processes and test requesting processes, an understanding and experience of Radiology processes, organisational and facilitation skills, leadership experience, be a proficient user of MS Project and an understanding of PRINCE2 project management methodology.
Working under the Portal PM, you will be working with clinical representatives and local health organisation representatives , including Pathology and Radiology to determine the activities required for organisational change to implement the Portal. The portal is to enable intra-organisational information sharing and better integration of services. You will be managing user forums, leading the creation of an implementation plan and developing a toolkit for each release. You will assist with the portal readiness assessment an be able to manage the full life cycle of implementation.
You will have the ability to liaise with partner agencies, 3rd party suppliers and health organisations so you will have very strong communication skills, be articulate and have the ability to negotiate.
